Cold ethanol extractor
The R5 Cold Ethanol Extractor easily processes up to 1,000 pounds per shift of plant material, extracting large quantities of desired cannabinoids. It produces very clean tincture that requires little or no clean up. The R5’s cold ethanol process enables the extractor to wash the desired cannabinoids at very low temperatures, thereby keeping out unwanted fats, lipids and chlorophyll while ensuring a fast and efficient wash.

PROCESSING: Compact Dry Trimmer
Triminator, Grass Valley, Calif., debuts the Triminator Mini Dry trimmer, combining the industrial-grade features from their commercial line in a compact size to offer urban and boutique cannabis growers a professional trimming solution.

The Mini Dry trims two to four pounds an hour depending on strain and the leaf-to-calyx ratio. The best hand trimmers trim around two pounds in a day’s work, which simply isn’t sustainable for many grow operations that wish to hold a competitive edge in the market while still maintaining a close and clean trim.
“The market lacked a trimming machine that offered a pure, lubricant-free trim that could also provide hand-quality precision in a small, affordable package,” says Dana Mosman, co-founder and CEO of Triminator. “We engineered the Triminator Mini Dry to provide those growers a cost-effective and fast solution for the tedious hand trimming phase of the harvest.”
Like previous machines launched by Triminator, the Mini Dry trimmer underwent hundreds of hours of rigorous testing in real-life and extreme conditions by both new and experienced operators to determine any potential points of failure and to receive operator feedback.
“We’re a family owned business and we take pride in what we do and believe that anything worth doing is worth overdoing,” says Don Mosman, co-founder and president of Triminator.
Pricing for the new Mini Dry trimmer starts at $2,799 and is available directly through Triminator and through select dealers. A list of dealers is also available on the company’s website at theTriminator.com.
