CULTIVATION: Blackout Curtain
Ludvig Svensson Inc., Charlotte, N.C., offers Obscura screens from AB Ludvig Svensson of Kinna, Sweden, for total blackout conditions and control of escaping light glare.
The double-layered version of the screen provides up to 99.9% of total blackout from daylight in greenhouse condition, along with maximum cooling with reflective upper layers.
The material’s small bundle sizes allow for screens that are easier to handle; construction also offers humidity control and less opportunity for condensation to form on undersides and drop on plants.
The screens also meet North American fire codes.
