Midwest Hemp Council To Host Weekly Hemp Webinar Series In April

Beginning April 1, the Midwest Hemp Council will host a weekly webinar series focused on hemp education. The “Make Hump Day, Hemp Day” series will provide an update on current regulations, growing techniques and business tips that will help you succeed in the emerging hemp industry.

A different subject matter will be discussed each week from noon to 1 p.m. CST. Scheduled topics include:

April 1 — The Big Picture: The Economics Of Hemp
April 8 — Tales From The Hemp Fields
April 15 — Seeds, Seedlings and Clones: Hit The Ground Growing!
April 22 — Regulatory Update
April 29 — The Need For Clinical Trials: Can Hemp Be A Solution To The Opioid Crisis
May 6 — From Soil To Oil: Planning Ahead
May 13 — What Hemp Means To The Local Economy

The series will feature speakers from Purdue University, Hemplet Farms, Viobin, NWI Forum, and the Newton Soil & Water Conservation District.
